This is such a beautiful post - so glad your garden brought you some respite during such a difficult year. Putting energy into helping something else thrive is such a good way to get out of your own head, even for a few moments. Excited to see what your 2025 garden plans will look like! Btw, I have a ton of sweet pea seeds if you'd like any for the spring. :)
It was wonderful to follow along with your garden experiments and arrangements this year, Rhiannon. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us. I'm so glad it brings you such solace.
Love how this post started AND how it ended. What a journey it's been! People should be so lucky to find something they enjoy doing. Not to mention a thing that affords them the opportunity to reflect on the work itself, but how it can impact them internally—emotionally. This was a wonderful, wonderful post. It will be exciting to see what the new year will bring.
Thank you, Jason! Definitely feel lucky to have the garden, especially this year. Love my other hobbies, but this one is so much more exciting/emotionally involved to me than, say, knitting, ha ha
Beautiful post about your Brooklyn garden, Rhiannon. Dad loved what you were doing with your flowers and he is always with you. Looking forward to this year's garden!

Thanks, Alison, it really is. And I love that I'm not in control of it and that the garden has a mind of its own. :)
Ooh, I will take you up on the sweet pea seeds, thank you!--should we do a seed swap? I have so many, ha ha
Yes!! That would be fun - I have a bunch too. :) I'll DM you on Instagram
